The latest chair from botton + gardiner featured at b+g’s Brisbane launch
November 6th, 2009
botton + gardiner have launched the latest in their range of quality Australian designed and manufactured furniture to much acclaim.
‘Skokis’, a contemporary carver or tub style chair with generous proportions suited to restaurants, cafes and food courts, made a splash at the launch of botton + gardiner’s Brisbane showroom in October.
Constructed of laminated plywood with 19mm stainless steel tube frame, ‘Skokis’ extends botton + gardiner’s comprehensive range of commercial dining chairs, offering high resistance to wear as well as strength and stability.
This latest addition to the laminated plywood chairs in the botton + gardiner family is available in a broad range of colours and woodgrain patterns, and may be configured with different colours on the front and back, providing ample scope for customisation.
The in-house design team sketched the elegant curves of ‘Skokis’ to sit alongside the ‘Ned’ and ‘Kelly’ models, the three designs exploring various forms in plywood. With a unified material, the trio can be mixed and matched to create unique seating for hospitality environments.
‘Skokis’ enjoyed its first outing at botton + gardiner’s Brisbane Launch, receiving much interest from attending guests from the design and architecture community. Like b+g’s other products, ‘Skokis’ is sure to be spotted in public area projects Australia-wide and globally. See Skokis with other new members of the botton + gardiner range here.
