HENRY DAVIS YORK PROJECT
Situated on a building roof top amidst the bustle of the city, the brief was to transform the large area into a functional space for use by all law firm staff daily as well as a space befitting private functions for the company.
Separate lifestyle areas were created including a central lounge and dining space to enable staff to relax during lunch breaks. Customised decks leveled the space and different materials and handcrafted elements added character, helping to define the areas including tiling, timber fences and sliding gates which also served to conceal air conditioning units.
Existing Robert Plumb furniture including Jimmy dining & coffee tables and day beds were added to with Robert Plumb Frankenstools to give it an earthy feel and large potted trees helped to create a rooftop garden oasis enabling privacy and an escape from a city environment.
