Z-Bar® by Koncept seems like a glimpse into the future of lighting.
August 29th, 2012
The award-winning luminaire features a unique three-bar design that facilitates ultimate reach and flexibility.
The adjustable LED head can spin in its socket, sweep side-to-side, and rotate around the end of the arm to point in any direction.
Sliding a finger along the touch strip results in gradual and controlled dimming, touching the strip pointedly will allow you to jump through various brightness levels directly, including off.
Comprising 42 LEDs, the Z-Bar boasts a lifespan of 50,000 hours with a frame available in Metallic Black or Silver.
Environmentally smart as much as it is techonologically advanced, the lamp has an optional colour-matched occupancy sensor, which cleverly turns the lamp off if no movement is sensed for 15 minutes, resuming last brightness when motion is detected again.
Taking the green attributes further still, Z-Bar is manufactured using 40% pre-consumer recycled material by weight.
Additionally, the aluminium housing is fully recyclable, all colour finishes use water-based paint and all cardboard used in packaging is FSC certified and the LEDs do not contain mercury.
Z-Bar is as impressive as it is attractive.
