Cadrys’ new commercial rugs take their inspiration from the Florence Broadhurst design library.
Cadrys have collaborated with several leading architects and design firms to create a series of rugs drawn from Florence Broadhurst designs.
2 recent applications of these rugs were at the Macquarie Medical Centre, a project designed by Silver Thomas Hanley, and the Immigration Museum in Melbourne, restored by Lovell Chen.
The Florence Broadhurst and Cadrys relationship stretches back to the 1960s, when Broadhurst would chat to Cadrys founder Jacques Cadry on her daily stroll from her Paddington Studio.
They would share ideas and stories of their latest works and finds.
4 decades later Signature Prints, custodians of the Florence Broadhurst design library, have brought the 2 together once again through this collaboration.
Unique and arresting just like Broadhurst herself, Cadrys new range of Custom Handtufted Rugs is an inspiring and exciting addition to the Cadrys collection.
