Pollux luminaires can be used for accentuation. spotlighting. complete uniform lighting and special effects
March 1st, 2013
Pollux is the new LED Luminaire from ERCO – but they don’t design luminaires. They design light: ERCO place the ‘immaterial software’ of light above the ‘physical hardware’ of the luminaire.
This design approach produces luminaires which make good architecture even better, and which do justice to displays in museums, galleries and shops.
In the Pollux range, they have produced luminaires which perform the full choreography of lighting tasks.
From accentuation and spotlighting through to coloured shapes and pattern projection, the Pollux range includes Floodlight, Lens Wallwasher, Spotlight and Projector Spotlight luminaires.
A framing attachment creates projection spotlights, and colour filters and gobos create coloured light effects which can be used to project patterns, images and logos.
The Pollux range has been popular in galleries, museums and restaurants, but its compact form makes it a perfect solution even in small rooms and display areas.
