Nicola Cerinis’ line of bags and accessories are inspired by her travels around the globe and the Australian environment. Two lines are brought out each year, which are sold in over 150 retailers nationally.
Unconventional fabrics such as seatbelt webbing give her designs the unique factor, but it's her strong environmental awareness that makes this Melbourne designer noteworthy.
Over the past few years a proportion of her range carrying native flora designs has been donated to the Tree Project, a volunteer organisation dedicated to the revegetation of the Victorian countryside resulting in approximately 25,000 trees planted as a result of Nicola Cerini sales.
She is also working towards creating a carbon neutral company by 2008 by offsetting all carbon emissions.
The range is also expanding internationally as major international retailers in Japan and Hong Kong look to grab a piece of the Nicola Cerini range.
