March 23rd, 2010
What does your company supply?
Warner Consulting is a boutique service provider to the Australian design supply market. Our experience and expertise has come from years in this market with a particular focus on luxury retail, premium quality consumer durables and the specification industry. We specialise in sales and marketing consulting, business development, strategic planning, executive search and recruitment.
How did your company come about?
After 17 years in corporate life, I decided to take the plunge in 2009 and start my own business. During my time working in this industry, I noticed there were no specialist providers to the design space in either consulting or recruitment. So Warner Consulting was set up to service the specific needs of the A&D space.
Where do you distribute?
Although based in Melbourne, we are a national provider and will work with our partners in all major capitals across the country.
Describe your customers?
Suppliers to the design community. We work with those business’ that are intrinsically linked to specification and retail sales to the A&D market.
What sets your company apart?
There is a unique rhythm that beats within every organisation. Warner Consulting seeks to identify this rhythm, understand it and tailor its solutions to meet the individual needs of its clients.
Who should we speak to when specifying?
Robert Warner.
What are your client’s priorities at the moment?
The right cultural fit! All of my clients have identified that, regardless of skills set, the most successful people within their organisation connect well with the culture and core values of the business.
What is good design to you?
Unique, functional & beautiful.
What does the future hold?
It has been a tough year for many, but there is a real positive vibe in the market place at the moment and many of my clients are investing in their future and gearing up for a big 2010.
