What does your company supply?
Australian designed and manufactured systems furniture / workstations for the commercial market.
How did your company come about?
In 1987 Head Office Group was formed with the business plan to offer quality Australian made workstation systems to the local market. In 1992, Head Office Group opened it’s own manufacturing division and has continued to offer good Australian designed and made workstation systems for the last 17 years.
Where do you distribute?
We have national representation with distributors in Western Australia, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory and Queensland.
Describe your customers?
Our customers range from large multi-national corporates, medium to small businesses, Design & Construct companies, builders / project managers and the A & D community form the majority of our client base.
What sets your company apart?
Our workstations are innovative, we do not offer “me too” products, and are all manufactured by our group from strong and durable materials. Vie is our latest system being offered to the commercial market and has GECA approval.
Who should we speak to when specifying?
Julian Burke, Terry Chambers, Ben Jacka, Andrew Kennedy or Ross Hanley.
What are your client’s priorities at the moment?
“Value for money” and “environmentally sustainable products” is what our client’s are requesting. This is the focus of our design and manufacturing policy.
What is good design to you?
In our opinion, good design is a combination of Form and Function. Form being aesthetics that stand the test of time, and Function being products that meet our client’s needs. These products must also be manufactured from materials that offer environmental sustainability.
What does the future hold?
Even after 22 years in the industry, Head Office Group is still looking forward and continuing to design and manufacture innovative furniture systems for the Australian market. Our latest system, ’Vie’, is another example of this innovative approach to design and function.
After 22 years Ross Hanley is stepping aside, with the announcement that Julian Burke is taking over the position of Managing Director. The company are very excited about the future as Julian has the skill, drive and ambition to take the company forward for the next 22 years.
