In a world filled with stories told through pictures, videos, installations and experiences, LongLeaf Tea Vodka does so with every sip.
September 15th, 2015
The handcrafted, premium vodka was born of a desire to combine intricate flavours of handpicked Sri Lankan tea and pure Australian vodka to create the nation’s first and the world’s best tea vodka. Launched in 2013 by Sydney resident Ram Krish, LongLeaf is distilled in the Hunter Valley in small batches using certified organic vodka, pure Australian rainwater and single-estate Ceylon tea.
LongLeaf is credited for its unique, supremely refreshing and all natural taste with a hint of sweetness and crisp tea finish. Its versatility and unique flavours were acknowledged at the 2014 San Francisco World Spirits Competition where LongLeaf was named the world’s best tea vodka and the best flavoured vodka in Asia Pacific.
Every sip is a passage of provenance that begins in the lush, misty hills of Sri Lanka where founder Ram’s family has been growing tea for generations. The journey continues with master distillers crafting carefully selected ingredients using traditional methods to create a flavour characterised for its smoothness. The journey and story culminate in Australia with every sip of LongLeaf enjoyed neat on ice or mixed in an array of cocktails.
