Attracting over 150 entries in 2013, the Judging Panel for the tenth edition of Launch Pad certainly had their work cut out for them.
June 27th, 2013
Celebrating a decade unearthing the best in emerging design, Launch Pad has established itself as one of Australia’s leading design initiatives; celebrating authentic, new design through a unique, interactive program of events.
Handpicked, leaders in their field, the six judges go on to play a vital role in supporting and nurturing the careers of the product designers shortlisted, with the view to carrying one or more designs through development, production then to market.
Enthused by the breadth of talent that surfaced through this years entries, judger and Futurespace’s Design Director, Gavin Harris, was enthused by the 2013 entrants, “Looking at the level and quality of the designs, Australian design has a bright future”.
A Shortlist of 54 entrants was narrowed down to a high performing 11 who will be exhibiting at Galleria as part of Sydney Indesign this August.
We are thrilled to announce the 2013 Launch Pad finalists and applaud their creativity.
