Celebrating and promoting energy efficient and innovative use of glass in Australian architecture, the Vision Awards attracted a host of impressive entries.

HATZ Architects took out the top prize in the residential energy efficient category for their Paradise Drive residence in Victoria (also pictured above).

Giles Tribe Architects and Urban Planners were recognised for their Manly residence in New South Wales in the residential creative use of glass category.

The Kerrie Murphy Building, International Grammar School in Ultimo, New South Wales by Allen Jack + Cottier won the commercial energy efficient category.

In the commercial creative use of glass for interiors category, the top honour went to Mury Architects for Giant Steps: Markaling House in Gladesville, New South Wales.

“Glass has long been used for visual effect in residential and commercial projects, but now with the growing range of high-performance glass products available it has also evolved to become a critical component in helping buildings meet increased energy regulations,” said Viridian Marketing Manager Lachlan Austin.
