Angelo Di Marco has been announced as the new CEO and Managing Director of Woodhead.

Woodhead have appointed Angelo Di Marco as their new CEO and Managing Director in what Chairman John Churchill describes as “recognition that design firms must be led by designers who are not only skilled in their profession but understand and have a global view.”
Di Marco has been with Woodhead for 15 years and has been a partner with the firm for 6 years. He brings to his new role experience working in Australia and the Asia Pacific region on a number of high profile projects.
Some of Woodhead’s significant recent Australian projects include Sydney Airport Terminals 1 & 2, the Royal Women’s Hospital Melbourne, Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide and the new campus for Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast.

The firm’s expansion into Asia – beginning nearly 20 years ago – has resulted in the completion of Singapore’s new Terminal 3 and Terminal redevelopment, work on the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi and projects in Africa, India and Indonesia for brands including Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, CIMP and Permata Bank.
“Our challenge will be to continue to contribute to the shaping of developing economies and developed economies like Australia and Singapore through urban and city strategies,” said Di Marco of Woodhead’s future direction.
