We’ll be bringing you daily blogs and images of the action from all the hotspots, including Zona Tortona and Superstudio as well as the huge array of exhibitors – from smaller emerging designers to the established greats.
On the ground will be two of our favourite designers-turned-reporters – Nathan Goldsworthy and Kristian Aus – both exhibiting at the fair, as well as Marcus Piper and Christey Johansson from studio one8one7, who will be roaming Milan taking shots for all of you who can’t be there in person.
Our Milan Correspondents:
Nathan Goldsworthy (pictured above)
Nathan Goldsworthy is a product & furniture designer – born, bred and trained in New Zealand.
Living in the capital city of Wellington, he has spent the last four years establishing a design consultancy concerned with discovering new ways of dealing with old problems, and new methods for working old materials.
This approach has produced successful production pieces, like the Tio Chair, as well as many commissions.
This month Nathan is venturing into the global arena, with an exhibition of new work at the Milan Furniture Fair. The collection is a series of shapes based on the repetition of forms in wool, steel and wood.
One of DQ magazine's Top Ten, Nathan will be contributing a daily blog covering a number of the week’s events.
Kristian Aus

Kristian Aus is an emerging Australian product designer who we’ve featured on indesignlive.com for his award-winning ‘metal petal lamp’ and his pac-man inspired stools.
Kristian will be writing a daily blog and posting images on his own experiences as a first-time exhibitor, you can also follow his twitter feed.
We look forward to bringing you the news each day as it happens at the biggest design event of the year.
