Just one of the titles in the Indesign Group stable, Design Quarterly is a lively, fast-paced magazine – and is currently seeking a new editor.

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role and possess strong written communication skills.

This role requires knowledge of the Australian and international design market, as well as an understanding of the workings of a magazine. Experience working within budget and to deadline is a definite advantage.

Day-to-day duties include the strategic planning of direction and content, commissioning, writing and sub-editing of articles for Design Quarterly and designquarterly.com.au as well as assisting across our other titles – Indesign, Habitus and IndesignLive. Industry function attendance is mandatory.

You will have a great deal of autonomy in this role yet also have the support of our close-knit team. You require a can-do approach towards getting the job done in order to flourish in this position.

This is a full-time appointment in our dynamic Sydney office and salary is negotiable – commensurate to experience.
